U-CAT, Tiny Tortoise Robot for Exploring Ocean Confined Space

The robot has the advantage of small size can explore places with narrow size . This is owned by a tiny robot called the U - CAT developed by Biorobotik Technology Center at the University of Tallin , Estonia.
U - CAT robot is shaped like a turtle . Her body is designed with a capsule form and is equipped with four pengggerak on the sides . With the driver , the robot can move in any direction with ease.

Professor Maarja Kruusmaa of central biometric Biorobotik revealed that the robot is a robot that is built with a design similar to a plant or animal . The design is used to find the solution of a problem with copying something that already exists in nature.

The robot is also equipped with a camera always recording what was in the vicinity. In addition , the robot also has a price advantage that is not too expensive . So , if the robot is damaged or jammed in the middle of the exploration , the researchers stayed launched U - CAT other robots.
